Since I was a child, I had the
experience of distinguishing letters and numbers by color because I had a
“synesthesia” that allowed me to feel the five senses at the same
time. 

I also pursues me admiration for
the occult and spiritual world, triggered by me predictive ability and the
history of countless repetitions of synchronicity.

Since it school days, I has been
strongly attracted to album covers of Western rock music and Hollywood movie
posters, and their influence is the basis for me sense as a painter.

After that, due to the existence
of Leonardo da Vinci, I began to specialize in Renaissance culture.

I will express my view of the
world based on the three principles of “inquisitiveness, originality, and
internationality,” and based on the concept of Neo-Ism, it expresses the
intersection of four concepts: classic and modern, design and artistry.

In
2010, when I visited Ms. Yoko Ono(John Lennon’s
wife) of NY Dakota, I was advised to “painting the world of” Bushido
/ Samurai “that Japan is proud of in the world”, and it became a
trigger for the series “SAMURAI SPIRIT” start.

Including
a solo exhibition at “Former Japan Prime Minister’s memorial hall
Y.Hatoyama”, “French Embassy in Tokyo, Tokugawa Art Museum, Foreign
Correspondents Club in Japan, Consulate General’s Residence in NYC, OAG German
Cultural Center, NY WhiteBox, NY Ouchi Gallery, NY GSFP Church, The House of 1999
mural paint, Roppongi Hills mural painting”,
etc. 100 It has been exhibited more than once and continues to the present.

In
addition, at the 2022 exhibition, Settangeli’s first “Ministry of Foreign
Affairs” permission was obtained for the joint exhibition of the Embassy
of the Republic of San Marino and A.Settangeli.

In
particular, the SAMURAI SPIRIT work has received high praise, especially in NY,
and has been praised by royal aristocrats, ambassadors and celebrities around
the world, and owns the works.

In
2019, his nephew (8 years old), who was taught by Settangeli, was the youngest
in history and won the 69th “GAKUTEN Award grand prize”, which is the
most prestigious and historical in domestic student art. Since Settangeli was
the winner of the 34th GAKUTEN Award grand prize, the achievement of the double
crown in the family was the first feat in history.

In
addition, as a supplementary prize to the grand prize winner, the grand prize
work was exhibited at the “Paris Louvre Museum” as the youngest art
event exhibition in the history of the Louvre.

幼少時から、五感を同時に脳で感ずる「共感覚」が備わっていた事で、文字や数字を色彩で判別していた経験が感性を育む土台となった。

また、予知能力や、共時性(シンクロニシティ)を無数に繰り返してきた事を切っ掛けに、神秘主義や精神世界を追求していくようになる。

学生時代から、欧米ロック音楽の盤面画像や、米国映画広告等の影響が、画家としての感覚を磨く基盤となっている。

その後は、「イタリア・レネッサンス芸術文化」を専門に学習していく。

「求道心・独創力・国際性」の三理念を基に、自己の世界観を表現していき、「ネオイズム(Neo-Ism)」を概念に「古典と現代・意匠と芸術性」という「四概念が交差する接点」を表現している。

2010年にはNYダコタハウスの「オノ・ヨーコ」氏を訪ねた際、「日本が世界に誇る ”武士道”の世界を描くよう」助言を受けた事が切っ掛けとなり、連作「SAMURAI SPIRIT」に着手。

「鳩山 元総理大臣邸」での個展を初め、「フランス大使館、徳川美術館、外国人記者クラブ、NY日本総領事館 大使公邸、NY Ouchi Gallery、NY GSFP Church、OAGドイツ文化会館、NY WhiteBox、The House of 1999壁画、六本木ヒルズの壁画制作」等、100回を超える展示会を経て現在に至る。

特にSAMURAI SPIRIT作品は、NYを中心に高い評価を得ると共に、世界中の王侯貴族、各国大使、著名人達が絶賛し、作品を所有している。

また、2022年度の展示会では、サンマリノ共和国大使館との共同展示会にて、自身初の「外務省 後援」許可を取得。

尚、2019年度にはセ・首藤が指導した甥(8歳)が史上最年少として、国内学生美術で最も権威と歴史ある 第69回「学展大賞」を受賞。首藤が第34回の学展大賞 受賞者であったことから、家族での2冠達成は歴史上初の快挙となった。

大賞者の副賞として「パリ・ルーブル美術館」にて、ルーブルでの国際アートイベント展示会に、史上最年少者として大賞作品展示を実現した。
